Grupo Guide Alpine Etna Sud comprises a team of guides who are members of the Regional College of Alpine Guides and Vulcanologists of Sicily. These professionals are the only ones authorized by Italian regulations to lead groups on active volcanoes and throughout the entire island area, as stipulated by the quadro law of January 2, 1989, number 6, and the regional law of April 6, 1996.
