Bureau des Guides Mont Aiguille offers an exciting mountaineering experience for those who want to climb Mont Aiguille.
The starting point is located either on the north side at the hamlet of Les Pellas or on the south side at La Richardière, which is just 50 minutes away from Grenoble. The mountain is accessible from May to October, and the usual route requires mountaineering equipment such as harness, rope, helmet, and carabiners.
The ascent route is technically not very difficult (3+ max in climbing) and is accessible to everyone, even those who have never climbed before, as long as they can practice an endurance sport such as mountain walking for about 5 to 7 hours.
A maximum of four people can be accompanied by a High Mountain guide. If you are more numerous, it is possible to provide several guides. To reach the summit of Mont Aiguille and descend, it takes about 7 hours for a roped party of three to four people.
