The Bureau comprises professional mountain guides, climbing instructors, and mountain leaders, all holding State Certificates and trained at the National School of Mountain Sports (ENSM) in Chamonix. They are also members of the International Union of Mountain Guides (UIAGM). The Bureau is committed to crafting personalized adventures, encouraging contact for custom adventure planning.
Originally founded in 1993 as the “Bureau de la Montagne” in Morzine-Avoriaz, the Bureau’s initial focus was on mountain and climbing activities during summer, and skiing and snowshoeing outings in winter. As the range of mountain activities expanded, the Bureau evolved to include activities like canyoning, via ferrata, and mountain biking, offering a broad range of options for mountain enthusiasts visiting Morzine, Avoriaz, and the Vallée d’Aulps. Today, the Bureau, known as the “Bureau des Guides de Morzine-Avoriaz,” continues with the same spirit of dynamism and youth.
