Rossignol, formally known as Skis Rossignol S.A., is a French manufacturer of alpine, snowboard, and Nordic equipment, as well as related outerwear and accessories. Based in Isère, France, Rossignol was a pioneer in producing plastic skis and is well-known for its innovative designs. The company owns other reputable brands such as Dynastar and LOOK.
In 2005, Rossignol was acquired by boardsport equipment manufacturer Quiksilver for $560 million. However, in 2008, Quiksilver sold Rossignol for $147 million to former chief executive, Bruno Cercley. Rossignol continues to be a leading brand in the world of winter sports equipment, offering high-quality products to enthusiasts and professional athletes alike.
