About Moon Boot
Moon Boot is a retrofuturistic, innovative, and iconic footwear brand with a heritage dating back to 1969, when Giancarlo Zanatta founded the Tecnica Group in his father Oreste’s shoe factory. With a focus on sportswear, Moon Boot has created an instantly recognizable and strongly identifiable footwear model that has become synonymous with the ultimate ski boot. The unique shape of the sole and the trademark lacing have made Moon Boots a one-of-a-kind type of footwear.
From the beginning, the brand’s mission has been clear: to celebrate a universe of experimentalism by finding cutting-edge design forms and techniques that pay homage to its heritage. Over time, Moon Boot has become increasingly modular and bold, rewriting the aesthetic of flagship models such as the “Icon” and offering a series of reboots in bright colors and contemporary designs like Light Low Nylon, Pumps Nylon, and Mules.
Designed to adapt to any environment and personal need, Moon Boot models feature water-repellent uppers and versatile soles that are suitable for use in the mountains, in the snow, or on city sidewalks. Through a long process of stylistic changes and evolutions, Moon Boot has become an integral part of Italian product design, with its creations displayed at the Louvre, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Milan Triennale, the Shanghai Museum, and the Shenzhen Museum.
By continuously pushing the boundaries of design and functionality, Moon Boot has cemented its place as a trailblazer in the world of footwear, offering a unique blend of style, performance, and adaptability for discerning consumers.
